Learning and Development Manager needed to join our team on a permanent basis. This role offers a chance to lead and shape the Learning and Development strategy across our UK region, working closely with our CPO and People Business Partners. The L&D Managerrole is a great opportunity for someone to bring their own experiences and creativity to our business, scoping the role as it grows.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Working closely with the CPO (UK) to develop a culture of learning and take full responsibility for the Learning and Development pillar of the People Strategy across the organisation
- To motivate and manage the L&D Coordinator to assist you in delivery of the L&D strategy and to ensure the foundations for the department are in place
- Work with Business Directors and Line Managers to understand capability and skills gaps and facilitate programmes, training, and workshops to address this. Building out a robust Training needs analysis process for use moving forward.
- Design and deliver engaging training both locally and in conjunction with the wider Wunderman Thompson Global offering, adapting it to meet local needs as necessary
- Review and develop our Management Training and Leadership Development programme, assessing the current provision and making recommendations for improvement
- Ownership of our Graduate programme launched this year and seek to continue to evolve this in line with the business needs
- Take and active role in embedding our Performance Management process, Thrive, to support both managers to complete and to deliver the outcomes of it
- Working with the wider People team, support on IE&D training initiatives as part of the wider IE&D strategy
- Own the relationship with Learning partners and suppliers and take responsibility for the L&D budget on both a quarterly and monthly basis
- Work with line managers and People Business partners to build on our People Track, with career path mapping and building learning paths for our roles

**What we want from you**:

- Strong experience as a Learning and Development specialist, ideally within a similar industry
- Qualifications in Learning and Development (CIPD or similar) and a passion for continuous professional development
- Competence in People Management, to lead and motivate a People Coordinator
- You are comfortable working in a fast paced, matrixed, and constantly changing environment, working at both an operational and strategic level.
- You have excellent communication and exceptional training development, delivery, and facilitation skills to deliver with impact
- Strong stakeholder relationship building and influencing capability to work to understand and solve different problems.
- You are a strong negotiator, when dealing with external suppliers to ensure we get the best value possible to make the most of our Learning budget
- Good time and project management skills with the ability to manage and prioritize a challenging and busy workload
- Ability to work independently and be self-directed
