Job Introduction

We are recruiting for a Workshop and Vehicle Distribution assistant to join our PDI Centre in Lawford Heath. The hours of work are Monday to Friday, 07:30 - 16:30.

You will be directly involved with our PDI technicians, administrators, drivers and Managers ensuring relevant supplies are available as well as assisting with the distribution of delivery packs. This is a dual role offering plenty of variety.

Role and Responsibilities

**Order Preparation**: You will be responsible for pre-picking packs for the workshop job cards, picking parts for customer orders and checking availability of stock from various sources.

Taking in-bound and making out-bound telephone calls, you will be developing inter-site relationships through providing good product knowledge and creating an effective first impression.

**Stock Control**: Ensuring consumables and service parts are regularly replenished providing a swift service to our workshop and other departments.

Complete audits and stock control ensuring end of month totals are accurate and completing all relevant administration promptly and accurately.

Assisting with the distribution of our new car delivery packs to our drivers and updating the transport systems.

Moving vehicles around site to assist with stock control.

Ideally you will have gained Motor Trade knowledge in a similar role.
