The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

The person hired for the position of Global Marketing Technology Senior Specialist will be responsible for managing key projects relating to the deployment, use and optimization of marketing technologies in the Safety and Industrial Business Group, within the Global Marketing Technology Center of Excellence. Technologies that currently span learning management, social messaging, paid media, webinars and event management.

This individual will serve as a crucial link between various teams across the organization (Marketing, IT, Corporate Enterprise Operations, Legal), working in a marketing environment to translate global business needs into technology solutions that meet internal and external customer expectations.
- Define technology deployment and optimization roadmaps that meet both internal and customer gathered requirements, through alignment and partnering with global, area and division marketing stakeholders
- Design detailed project plans with responsibilities spanning internal teams, leading projects that combine marketing technologies and capabilities to deliver new, integrated solutions that are modern, scalable, secure and evolve with customer expectations
- Research and provide direction on global legal requirements relative to marketing technologies and manage platform governance
- Manage the process of change through effective, proactive communication and the delivery of educational sessions and training materials to both global and area marketing teams
- Align on global key performance indicators, select data sources, and oversee the development of dashboards that empower marketing teams with key insights
- Act as expert relative to the assigned technology set, addressing queries and effectively managing defects, while monitoring usage and vendor enhancements to deliver recommendations for change

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university
- Experience of managing marketing technology for a large organization

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

- Knowledge of global data privacy and compliance rules and practices
- Experience working in an international role
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate across various departments within the organization
- Desire to drive and manage projects with strong organizational skills
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and operate independently in a fast-paced environment

Salary - high-reaching dependent on skills and experience plus excellent benefits package.
