**About the role**

Power T&D is about to embark on a journey of unprecedented growth, this is a great opportunity for an experienced bid writer who is looking to maybe take their next step into a Senior Bid Writing role.

Role Purpose:

- Act as the Lead Author to produce professionally written, consistent proposal content that clearly articulates Balfour Beatty's value proposition.

**What you'll be doing**
As a Senior Bid Writer you will:

- Develop Value propositions tailored to customers unique requirements;
- Assist the Bid Managers in developing a proposal structure;
- Conduct answer planning sessions;
- Create response structures and compiling narrative for BBLP, Balvac and Ground Engineering quality responses. Aligned to the customers evaluation criteria and objectives;
- Provide one BB tone of voice across quality submissions;
- Manage content and structure for evidence and case studies;
- Coordinate and manage response review sessions;
- Support with submission graphics and final documents upload;
- Support with bid and systems administration.

**Who we're looking for**
Personal Qualities and Experience:

- Proven skills in producing and editing proposal content within a complex business environment;
- Experienced in leading answer planning sessions, participating in key review meetings/ final document review, content sign off and document production;
- Experience of coordinating and updating a knowledge base system is beneficial;
- Excellent writing skills and ability to communicate professionally with colleagues at all levels of the business;
- Ability to use a range of tools, methods and search engines, to analyse and assimilate data, such as competitor analysis or customer research;
- Collate proposal documents using library/information stores, search engines/corporate directories;
- Ability to work collaboratively with work winning, operational teams and supply chain;
Qualifications:

- Certified to APMP Foundation or Practitioner Level;
- Advanced MS Word skills & proficient in MS Office.
