**About the role**:
We are looking for a **Junior Event Proposal Writer** to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for supporting the Experience Design team in driving creative, high quality, winning solutions in response to the client briefs.

The event solutions you will write about could include logistics, production, technology, creative design and communications strategies. Events range in complexity, size and budgets and include incentives, conferences, exhibitions, automotive events, product launches and award ceremonies in virtual, hybrid and live environments.

**As a Junior Event Proposal Writer, you will**:

- Source destination, programme, hotel and venue options that meet the goals and objectives of the client
- Support colleagues in the proposal development process, making recommendations regarding the best solution
- Independently create client-facing documents and prepare corresponding budget/s for client briefs
- Take responsibility to learn about and have a strong understanding of all services offered across The Collective and within other lines of business, taking knowledge and leveraging in our proposals
- Maintain knowledge and understanding of meetings, events and incentive travel - and write about each solution
- Develop a rapport with external suppliers both in the UK and overseas for sourcing and negotiating
- Collaborate with other team members across the business where required to support the development of each client brief

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment, offering solutions and work on multiple projects and timelines at once
- Being an excellent team player both within your immediate team as well as the wider company

**You might also have**:

- Previous experience in the events industry
- Knowledge of BCD M&E products and services
- Proven financial management acumen

**You should know**:

- This role offers hybrid working with 1-2 days a week spent in either our Derby or Milton Keynes offices
- Our standard office working hours are 9:00am - 5:30pm with an hour break
- Have the desire and ability to travel for FAM trips
