Senior Lead Volunteer
Volunteer to help Sue Ryder be there when it matters
As a Senior Lead Volunteer in our Newmarket Sue Ryder charity shop, you will support the shop management team with the day-to-day running of the shop and help manage the team of volunteers. We are looking for friendly, positive organised individuals with good flexibility to help cover the shop. Training is provided.
The Role -Senior Lead Volunteer
- Assisting the Shop Manager with the daily running of the shop
- Key holder responsibilities - opening/closing shop (once trained)
- Supporting / coaching the shop’s team of volunteers
- Donations and Gift Aid - meet donors, receive donations, sign donors up to GiftAid
- Sorting, labelling, pricing of stock
- Greeting and helping customers
- Serving customers on the till (training provided)
- Maintaining shop displays, re-stocking,
