**The role**

**The Client**

The client is a 10-year-old male who has physical disabilities, including Cerebral Palsy and epilepsy. He is very sociable and has an infectious smile and laughter.

He is able to manage some of his daily living needs and wants to be as independent as possible. He benefits from assistance with managing the tasks he finds challenging and ensuring his safety.

He attends a specialist school where staff support him with his learning needs and he is offered mental stimulation, social interaction and therapy. He also receives therapeutic input at home, and he is engaged in social activities.

**Essential**
- You must possess good communication skills, both written and verbal due to the need to assist the client with learning needs and providing reports to the case manager and other professionals.
- A satisfactory Enhanced DBS check is essential for the role.
- You must hold a clean driving licence and be capable of driving the client's vehicle in order to assist him with commuting to appointments and other suitable activities.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Expected hours: 15 - 33.75 per week

Day range:

- Every weekend
- Monday to Friday

Physical setting:

- Homecare

Shift:

- Day shift

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
