We have an exciting opportunity for an After School Club Leader to join our forward thinking business. We aim to encourage children’s problem solving skills, instil creativity and prepare children for future technical innovations.

This is a temporary ongoing, term time only position.

Working Hours: Any day/days Monday

All sessions are pre-planned and Cre8fun Ltd provides all required resources and manages bookings and club registers. Presenters are paid fro. £25 per club session and most clubs run for 10-12 sessions. Contracts are short term so bookings can be balanced with other study and work commitments

The role

As After School Club Leader, you will be running educational, hands on after school clubs for children which run for 1 hour, with an extra 60 minutes for set up, clear away and travel time. You will be provided with all equipment for the session along with online tutorials on how to construct the exciting projects.

During the session, you will be responsible for a variety of duties including:
Setting up and introducing the project in a positive and exciting manner

Ensuring safeguarding policies are followed

Briefly explaining the STEM (science, technology, engineering and maths) principles involved in the project (this information will be supplied on the session plan)

Inspiring the children with ideas to build the project

Listening and talking to individual children, helping and guiding them through the build.

Retaining a sense of humour in times of chaos

Listening to parents and welcoming newcomers

About you

Previous experience of working with children, DBS Enhanced.

About Cre8fun Ltd

Cre8fun Ltd runs after school clubs for primary school children with activities based around the STEM curriculum areas. We operate all over the West Midlands and employ Leaders from a wide variety of backgrounds. Running our clubs allows the to build up their experience with different groups of children in education settings, but have the security of knowing that the sessions are pre-planned and all activities are tried and tested.

**Salary**: From £11.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 - 16 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

- Loyalty bonus
