An excellent opportunity for an experienced Sales Ledger Clerk to join a well-established construction company. Based in Maidstone, which provides excellent transport links to the surrounding areas.

You will be reporting to the Financial Director.

**Main Duties & Responsibilities**
- Processing Sales Invoices and credit notes and posting these onto the system, whilst ensuring accuracy in all recorded transactions.
- Posting of cash receipts onto the sales ledger
- Processing the direct debit Collections
- Allocating Receipts
- Working in collaboration with the Credit Control Clerk
- Assisting customers with any invoice queries
- KPI reporting to management
- Investigating sales ledger queries
- Ad-Hoc duties as requested by the Finance Director
- Have an understanding of a Sales Ledger function
- Methodical and organised approach to work & the ability to analyse and solve problems
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Experience working with Microsoft Office suite, in particular MS Excel
- Pegasus Opera experience is desirable but not essential
- Ability to manage workload on a daily basis and work under own initiative
- Appreciation for the importance of timely, complete and accurate tasks.
- A strong team player who can keep the team engaged whilst constantly seeking opportunities to improve the department.
