We are currently looking to recruit an Asset Controller to join our team.

Our Assets are the foundation of our business and this is a fantastic opportunity for the right person to learn about the forklift truck industry. The role would be a great stepping stone for further career progression.

**Key **R **esponsib **ilities **of the Role**

The Asset Team is responsible for available Ready to Go Stock; Condition Reporting; Depot Capacity ; Aged Stock Days; Asset Status Timeline - Ready to go fleet, Trade packages, Disposal Routes ; Standing Fleet potential; Depreciation and Asset Preparation Costs.

Aid and manage the end to end flow of MHE assets through the business from a sales order to final delivery to a customers site the business from a sales order to final delivery to a customers site.

Key activities:

- Running reports to identify which assets are returning.
- Inspecting assets to ensure they meet the expected condition and specification upon return.
- Allocation of suitable assets for “ready to go” stock preparation to workshops
- Allocation of suitable assets for to a sales order.
- Identifying and allocating assets suitable for trade channels.
- Positive engagement with sales teams to help deliver customer equipment solutions
- Producing sales promotions for specific assets
- Liaising with 3rd party suppliers to procure or repair traction batteries & chargers
- Manage stock levels (amount, age and utilisation)
- Conduct physical stock takes
- Deputising for the Regional Asset Director
- Manage end of contract meetings alongside regional leadership team

**Tasks and Qualifications**:

- Driver’s licence is essential for this position as some travel will be required
- IT skills - Microsoft Office
- Physical ability to safely inspect MHE
- Confident and clear communicator
