**Why is this Security Pre-Sales Architect position a great opportunity?**
This role requires a skilled technical pre-sales consultant with experience in Microsoft Security solutions, to work with our sales team in defining proposals for our clients.
You will be responsible for responding to technical queries from the sales team, attending client meetings with account managers virtually or in person and creating proposal documentation that outline solutions to defined problems, in-line with the Infinity Group product stack.
**What skills and working characteristics should this person have?**:
- Expert and hands on level understanding of the Microsoft Security technology portfolio:
- M365 & Azure (Sentinel) Security architecture and capabilities
- Best practice set up and implementation approach
- E5 & Business Premium Licensing
- Holds appropriate certifications with Microsoft
- Working knowledge of the security technology landscape for the purposes of technology comparison and positioning Microsoft security products
- Working knowledge of the regulatory and compliance landscape, particularly standards such as Cyber Essentials and ISO
- Broader knowledge of Microsoft infrastructure and modern work products
- Owns the technical pre-sales process for security (consulting and managed services):
- Understanding clients needs
- Shaping the right solution
- Delivering estimates / costs and plans for delivery
- Presenting the solution to clients and supporting the sales team in closing the deal
- Maintaining “trusted advisor” relationships with clients to support delivery and the client relationship
- Delivery of consulting engagements with client exploring security improvements, wanting to improve their security posture or develop a case for change:
- Assessment of a client IT landscape and development of recommendations and roadmaps
- Deliver workshops with business and technical stakeholders around Microsoft security and value across different business case themes (cost, risk, agility etc).
- Experience delivering MCI workshops essential
- Work with other members of the Infinity team to deliver strategy engagements with clients representing security
- Supporting delivery teams as an SME to reduce risk or improve project execution
- Develops propositions and business development plays for security
- Input into the sales strategy for infrastructure & modern work from a security perspective.
- Owns the development of consulting or product propositions for our clients either as broad (cross industry) or narrow (sector or domain specific) propositions, working with the product, sales and marketing teams.
- Works with Microsoft product group to validate propositions and gain support for co-sell / co-market activity.
- Can act as the market facing individual for the Infinity Security proposition
- Works with marketing on campaigns
- Maintains a strong presence via communities and social media
- Works with technical and sales teams at Microsoft on joint propositions
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to rapidly build relationships with stakeholders with different backgrounds.
- Sense of ownership and proactivity
- Highly reliable (keeping deadlines), with attention to detail
**As a Security Prs-Sales Architect, you’ll be responsible for**:
- Technical presales. Supporting the sales team in defining the correct solutions for customers, in-line with our defined methodologies and unique product stack.
- Meeting customers virtually or in-person to discuss pain points and build solutions to help solve them.
- Creating proposal documentation that clearly articulates the client requirements for both sales and delivery teams
- Defining strategy and formulating roadmaps
- Collaborating with delivery teams to collate internal and external feedback, working with the CO to improve processes and product
- Working under pressure and to deadlines
