As a Master Production Scheduler, you will be working Monday to Friday, to:

- Serve as primary point of contact for and liaison with sales, logistics and manufacturing departments
- Develop production plans and scheduling
- MRP runs interrogated and managed
- Set production plans and challenge production on the adherence to plan
- Collaborate with relevant departments to establish schedules and plans that allocate available resources to best serve client or customer needs
- Periodically compare current and anticipated orders with available inventory of raw materials; use judgement to anticipate demand for and to acquire additional supplies as needed
- Manage the Runners, Repeaters and Strangers analysis and process
- Integrates sales orders with master schedule; coordinate availability of raw materials, supplies equipment and staff as needed to meet delivery dates
- Participate in regular forecasting meetings with sales, marketing and other related departments; leads additional planning meetings with sales, production, shipping, purchasing and customer service staff
- Drive production to meet run at rates to ensure customer satisfaction
- Report and graph production throughput, scrap & plan adherence
- Produce weekly management reports
- Ensure housekeeping within work area is maintained at the highest-level ensuring adherence to Health and Safety standards at all times
- Look to support a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration and innovation, with an emphasis on embracing technology to maximise efficiency
- To assist in the delivery of the site and wider company objectives
- To carry out or assist with any duties as deemed necessary in connection with the business

- LEAN or other relevant qualification

Salary £35,000
