Vibe Recruit have an immediate requirement for a Planner for our client in the Bridgend area.

The company offers an expanding portfolio of content, technology, hardware and services for regulated gaming, social and leisure operators across the world.
- and short-term forecasting. This role will work closely with the Warehouse, Material Control and Procurement teams to ensure that materials are available for the scheduled build dates and spares requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Ensure safe working practices are adopted and company H&S policies and procedures are continuously adhered to.
- Creation of production planning schedules ensuring availability of resources to balance demand and production thus maximising throughout.
- Loading and managing works orders onto the system against Planned works order schedules.
- Accept responsibility of planning activities for both low value standard and higher value modified or bespoke items and push/pull through external and internal functions.
- Manage works orders on the system, identify and report BOM inaccuracies, support the ECN requirements for released WO, highlight material shortages.
- Review live, obsolete, and slow-moving stock against long term material requirements and forecast and manage storage requirements. Identify policies to reduce all stock and work to eliminate off-site raw material storage.
- Support Manufacturing to establish routes for production items and spares kits.
- Focus on driving data integrity and process compliance across Planning, Procurement and Warehouse functions to increase OTIF
- Support operational inputs to the Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning process to influence preparedness.
- Welcome the prospect of supporting best practice culture, whilst striving for continuous improvement within the planning process.
- Set, record, and communicate Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) to clearly display the departmental performance with regards to Planning.
- Be an active participant in the planning and completion of the factory stock checks.
- Work closely with the manufacturing team and attend the daily GEMBA & Production meetings.
- Ensure high standards of 6S, both the physical environment and systems are continuously maintained.

- Monday to Friday
