We have an exciting opportunity for a Domestic Abuse Prevention Worker working part time 22.5 hours a week, you will play an important role in educating perpetrators of domestic abuse and people who harm to successfully break the cycle by learning how to have and maintain a healthy relationship.

**About the role**:
As a DA prevention worker for Rochdale you will be responsible for supporting clients on a one to one basis and group facilitation.

You will need:
You be a team player, willing to work flexibly to meet the needs of our clients and be able to prioritise and manage your own caseload. You will also have an excellent understanding of and commitment to the promotion of equal opportunities and diversity.

You will be required to attend relevant meetings and will provide regular reports to your line manager. You will also undertake talks and presentations to local groups and agencies on the work of Victim Support, developing networks and partnerships and increasing the role of the service.

To be successful in this role you should have good IT skills, knowledge of criminal justice issues and an understanding of the effects a court appearance can have on victims and witnesses of crime are also essential.
