**Job Title: Senior Shipping Supervisor**

**Location**: London, UK

**Salary**: £40,000 to £42,000 per year

**Schedule**: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm

We Staff have collaborated with a Global shipping company specialising in the transportation and packaging of Works of Arts and Collectables. Their overseas offices and warehouses are located in Paris, New York, Los Angeles, Madrid, and Milan.

Our client has experienced vast growth over recent years and are looking for a Junior Logistics Coordinator to join in the development and success of their growth. We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Senior Shipping Coordinator to join their team. As a Senior Shipping Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in managing the logistics and operations of our global shipping services.

**Responsibilities**:

- Handle export customs entries for all courier shipments exceeding £20,000, including Temporary Admission (TA) shipments.
- Oversee all airfreight and sea freight shipments, including liaising with interoffice teams, sending pre-alerts, and ensuring timely delivery.
- Manage all quotes for GA, VIP London, and BCG (Christie’s) vendors.
- Handle external billing for vendors and manage receivables and margins for all accounts.
- Collate, submit, and review all supplier comps directly with the Chief Operating Officer (COO).
- Manage Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for all accounts.
- Supervise operations and logistics for all interoffice transfers, including air, sea, and shuttle deliveries from booking to final delivery.
- Liaise with the Operations Team and third-party suppliers regarding airline collections and deliveries.
- Ensure the utilization of the most reliable and cost-effective transport solutions and manage margin levels and collections of receivables within 35 days.
- Communicate effectively with external suppliers, vendors, and clients.
- Ensure delivery volumes and timings align with our SLAs, warehouse requirements, and international compliance standards.
- Perform other tasks as directed by the Managing Director and COO.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in shipping coordination or logistics management.
- Proficiency in export customs procedures and regulations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and shipping software.
