**Senior Agile Delivery Manger**

**Contract Term: 3 Months**

**Contracting Authority: DWP**

**Location: London - Hybrid working**

The department is undertaking 5 lighthouse projects in its explorative Generative AI programme. As part of this has a vacancy for Senior Agile Delivery Manger within the core team.

**As a Senior Agile Delivery your main responsibilities will be**:

- Working closely with the AI Advisory Group, the Innovation Lab Subject Matter Experts (SME) and the Lighthouse Centre of Excellence (CoE) core team, you will engage collaboratively with product owners, stakeholders and business analysts helping the CoE and Lighthouse Project team(s) driving the plan for development and delivery.
- You will encourage a culture of innovation focused on adding value. As well as managing or leading successful delivery outcomes for the Lighthouse Projects, making sure that products at all stages are fully tested and fit for purpose
- Be able to motivate peers to deliver at pace and set a positive team environment. Be able to engage in helping to resolve complex problems and supporting the team(s) to overcome delivery challenges.
- Appreciate the nuances of balancing the demands of a distinct user group within a challenging Operational landscape; and be able to make the right decision at the right time to satisfy those stakeholders.
- Be a creative and effective planner - to both internal and external teams - optimising speed to market, value and quality
- Have direct experience of procurement, commercial and supplier management, leading procurement activity on behalf of CoE to enable delivery of work.
- Will demonstrate ability to adjust quickly to changing priorities and conditions and to cope effectively with complexity and change.
- Track and manage project progress and budget, providing proactive, supportive, and accurate reporting to senior leads and/or governance boards.

**You’ll have relevant experience in**:

- Experience in servant leading an agile, multidisciplinary team (especially with supplier teams) and fostering a safe, sustainable and supporting environment
- Excellent facilitation and communication skills, ensuring team flow is achieved
- Proactive management of risks, effective management and reporting of issues, throughout the CoE and Lighthouse projects.
- Proactively take ownership of work, ensuring the team focus upon valuable outcomes
- Proactive approach to multi-disciplinary planning
