**Cruachan Power Station**

Are you looking for a new and exciting role where no two days are the same?

Do you have an interest in the energy sector and want to be able to your passion with others?

If your answer is yes, then this could be the role for you

**About the role**
As the Facilities Supervisor for our visitors centre at Cruachan, you’ll be the lead guide for Cruachan Power Station guided tours and be responsible for organising maintenance and the legal compliance of the visitor centre vehicles.

You’ll be responsible for organising repairs to the visitor centre building, grounds, internal areas, equipment, and exhibits and manage the work making sure Facilities requests are carried out safely and to the required standard by the relevant contractors.

You’ll be responsible for updating the guided tour content ensuring current information is given to visitors incorporating developments in global Pumped Storage Hydro and Drax projects.

You’ll lead appropriate quality assurance to ensure that the tour guides are delivering a high quality and safe visitor experience and make sure that they are also delivering 5-star customer service.

You’ll also be responsible for team compliance with health and safety polices and checklists for the visitor centre and ensure documents are completed by team members and develop new policies as required.

This is an exciting time to join us for the new season ahead.

**About you**
You will need to have a PCV licence to be able to drive the tour busses on site, along with a Valid CPC card.

It’s essential that you have previous public speaking experience and that you have a strong interest in the energy sector along with some knowledge of Drax and Cruachan power station.

Many visitors to our site are tourists so it’s also essential that you have knowledge of the local area to be able to advise people of other local attractions and activities.

Within this role you will need to be flexible and be able to prioritise the workload. We all work as part of a team here at Cruachan and you will be expected to chip in and help out around other areas of the visitors centre such as the café and gift shop during our busy periods.
