Job Summary:
As a production planner, you will be responsible for implementing, organising, and optimising the production schedule to meet customer demands and stock holding requirements, maximise efficiency, and ensure timely delivery of products.

You will coordinate various aspects of the manufacturing process, including workforce scheduling and machine capacity utilisation.

Collaborating with accounts, logistics, procurement, production, sales, and our in-house design team to ensure transparency and excellent communication throughout the business.

**Duties**:

- Develop and maintain detailed production schedules to include labour and machine resource
- Collaborate with all other departments to ensure schedules align with customer expectations, lead times and stock holding levels
- Work closely with procurement to ensure the availability of materials as required whilst minimising raw material stock holding
- Monitor and analyse stock holding levels, making relevant adjustments to levels as required
- Optimise the use of machinery to improve efficiency and reduce downtime and waste
- Develop and maintain reports to analyse production data to identify bottlenecks, inefficient processes, and areas of improvement
- Collect, compile, and present reports detailing production progress, performance, schedule adherence, lead times and stock holding levels on a weekly, monthly basis, or as requested
- Facilitate/Participate in Lean manufacturing and other continuous improvement initiatives to develop tools to improve production and CAD efficiencies
- Handle multiple assignments alongside other departments to achieve the desired outcome within the stipulated timeframe
- Help to provide support to meet corporate financial targets

Pay: From £34,000.00 per year
