An excellent opportunity is available to join our HR team as an apprentice at Chelmsford City Council.

The successful applicant will work towards a Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship and will support us in delivering a high-quality service, carrying out administrative tasks relating to HR, Training and Payroll. Day to day tasks include checking and inputting data on our HR/Payroll system, supporting the administration of training courses and records, assisting with various stages of the recruitment process and responding to queries from both internal and external customers.

The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate a good attention to detail and have good communication skills.

Experience of using computer packages including Word, Excel and Outlook is essential, along with GCSE grade 4/C or above in English and Maths or equivalent.

We are looking for the successful applicant to work 37 hours per week. Time will be given during the working week to study and complete assignments as necessary.

Interviews are currently scheduled for 15th February.
