**Britannia Movers is currently looking to recruit drivers with both Class 1 and Class 2 driving licences.**:
**Be a Britannia HGV Driver**:
**We are also looking for trainee HGV driver applicants with the following -**:

- A full driving licence with the right to drive and work in the UK
- Minimum, one year’s driving experience
- No more than 6 points on your license
- No unspent criminal convictions

**You Should be**:

- A confident person with good customer service skills who enjoys working and dealing with people
- An excellent driver who is comfortable driving in varied environments and at different times of the day
- Enthusiastic and flexible in your approach to work
- Be prepared to drive long distances including throughout Europe

**Driver duties**:
Drivers are required to assist a crew in household and commercial removals throughout the local area, UK and Europe. Job will involve packing, loading and unloading customers goods and effects. Experience is preferred but not essential as on the job training will be given.

You must be physically fit, hardworking and willing to travel on a rotational basis, have a flexible approach to work as well as being good with customers and a team player.

Drivers must ensure the security and safety of any company vehicle driven by them, in addition, to ensure any vehicle driven is loaded safely and remains within its legal axel loading weights. Comply with any working time regulations and obey the Road Traffic Act 1998 in all respects. Drivers of Heavy goods and Light goods vehicles must ensure that they understand and comply with the Road Transport (Working Time) Guidance on statutory rest periods and maximum driving hours. This is of particular importance when using a tachograph.

Britannia also provide ongoing CPC training for our HGV drivers to ensure their certificates of professional competence to drive a lorry/HGV is valid and fulfils the legal requirements to complete periodic training.
