Qc Supervisor

**Quality Supervisor**

**Role Purpose**:
Supporting the Quality Control Manager ensuring that the manufacturing of product consistently meets agreed technical information & quality through agreed policies & procedures.

**Role Description & Responsibilities**:
**Quality Control**:

- Support Team of QC Operatives whose role is to ensure our product range consistently meets agreed technical information & quality through agreed policies & procedures
- Support the Quality Control Manager with the training of the QC Team to consistency conduct all agreed product checks to agreed standards through each shift documenting for future use and auditing purposes
- Day to Day control over the production quality including ensuring continual compliance with weights and measures legislation, product aesthetics and batch traceability record keeping
- Work collaboratively with Production Team, specifically Line Leader to highlight any products/issues that do not adhere to our policy during production
- In conjunction with the Line Supervisors & Shift Managers, the QC Team should continually drive for consistent standards of outputs
- Ensure the QC Team highlight to the Line Supervisors any products/issues that do not adhere to our policy

**Administration**:

- Ensure all QC related paperwork is completed accurately for all applicable checks
- All paperwork to be filed/stored appropriately for potential future use - checks, audits, investigations

**Investigations**
- Lead & report any relevant QC investigations on returns/rejections etc... that require confirmation as to the action required to correct or deal with products that are brought back to the
- Liaise with relevant teams to ensure the correct process is followed for reworks/quarantined stock

**Waste / Recycling**:

- Work with Mixing Team to ensure we reduce waste & increase efficiency of ICB Usage
- Continually review ways of recycling liquid into new base mixes to remove any requirement for collection

**Goods In**:

- Check deliveries report any out of specification product to the Quality Control Manager

**Knowledge & Experience**:

- QC experience is essential
- Previous experience in manufacturing & production either on factory floor or within administration beneficial

**Technical/Behavioural/Personal Competencies**:

- Experience using Microsoft software
- Experience with record keeping & archive systems
- Good communication & experience in leading & motivating teams
- Analytical and problem-solving ability
- Agility, persistence & the ability to influence at all levels
- A strategic approach to work

**Hours & Role**:
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £13.00 per hour
Schedule:

- 12 hour day shifts (4 days a week)

Work Location: One location (Wardle, Nantwich)
