We are looking for a **Maintenance** **Assistant **to join our team at** Thanet Well Lodge Retreat **in** Penrith, Cumbria.**_ _**_Great competitive hourly rate of pay_

This is a **permanent **position to work **full time** hours. This will be 40 hours across 5 variable days which will include weekends and bank holidays.

Flexibility is essential to suit the needs of the business.

**About The Role**

**Main responsibilities**:
The successful Maintenance Assistant will
- Assist the maintenance team with the upkeep of company buildings and guest accommodation.
- Respond to and complete maintenance requests from guests on site.
- Assist in the completion of any renovation projects or redecoration.
- Complete any planned daily, weekly and monthly maintenance tasks.
- Assist with the cleaning and maintenance of all hot tubs on changeover days.

**Requirements**:
Previous maintenance experience is preferred. A positive work ethic with a willingness to learn new skills is desirable. A driving licence and the ability to drive is essential for this role due to the use the site buggies / vehicles.

- Right to Live and work in the UK
- A driving licence and the ability to drive is essential for this role due to the use the site buggies / vehicles

**Desired Criteria**
- Previous maintenance experience is an advantage
