An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Patterdale team for a Maintenance Operative to join us on a permanent basis working 22.5 hours a week. You will join our team and work alongside Mike and Brook who strive to ensure we deliver the best customer service on a daily basis

In this role the post holder is expected to perform maintenance and improvements as required, ensuring timely and effective interventions are made through maintaining our land/properties. You will also be required to assist management with resources, including contractors, in respects to building related development. We are ideally looking for an individual to join us who has a great team spirit and is happy to roll up their sleeves and help with tasks across The Estate.

Patterdale is part of YMCA North Tyneside, a charitable organisation that provide a range of services such as Youth & Play provisions, a Cafe and Gym in North Shields and self catering properties in Patterdale to help generate profits for our services, a community cafe in teesdale, and housing for young people who would otherwise be homeless. **Location**: Patterdale Hall Estate (Part of YMCA North Tyneside), Glenridding, Penrith, CA11 0PJ
**Hours of work**: 22.5, including weekends
**Contract**: part time
**Salary**: £11.50 per hour

To be successful, it is essential that you have relevant experience or a relevant qualification in business administration, recent relevant Training and Continued Professional Development. Additionally, it is essential that you have a flexible approach to your working hours, working hours could include daytime, evenings, weekends and bank holiday.
