**Salary**: Depending on Experience. Hours 42.5 p/w, Monday to Friday inclusive.
- Help to ensure the Driver base are planned on achievable runs within legislation, and within company and industry standards, adhering to the highest standards of compliance.
- Work with the Senior Transport Planner and Resource Planners to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the department.
- Monitor and react to KPI results, undertaking improvements where required.
- Ensure all information is processed correctly on the right system(s).
- Book in/process end customers via the correct system(s).
- Allocate small quantity orders to Langdons, minimizing cost exposure, and book in on Langdons portal.
- Book in other orders on a day 1 for 2 and day 1 for 3 basis, as required.
- Consolidate orders in the most efficient manner.
- Route any multi-drops in the most appropriate manner.
- Plan double-decker trailers to maximum use at point of consolidation.
- Confirm orders planned in TMS with all clients.
- Book and administer any client collections; agree loads with Pan Euro Team as appropriate.
- Ensure all work undertaken is raised correctly on TMS with prices and notes to enable easy administration.
- Put all loads on C3 accurately with any required notes to enable easy administration.
- Move loads on C3 as required if and when there are any changes to plan.
- Communicate with Warehouse Planning for any special requirements.
- Communicate with clients at all times regarding any planning issues that may prejudice cost or service; assisting other functions as required by the business.
- Continually strive to create opportunities for the improvement of the department & business.
- Any other reasonable duties as directed by the Senior Transport Planner.
