**Job Description** Role: Bookings Clerk

Location: Rochdale

**Salary**: £22,500

Consultants: Joshua Hallett and Daniel Keatley

We are working with our client in Rochdale to appoint a Bookings Clerk within their Administration team. The aim of the Bookings Clerk is to manage the timely and accurate entry of data relating to UK and European freight bookings.

Daily duties in the Bookings Clerk role:

- Communication and co-ordination with internal departments within Rochdale and other branches within the Dachser network ensuring that the agreed service levels are met
- To respond promptly and accurately to enquiries
- Checking of customer paperwork to ensure correctness before shipping and matching to the appropriate collection order
- Direct communication with customers in a professional and efficient manner

- Highly numerate
- Ability to prioritise
- Computer Literacy skills
