**Salary: £12,000 to £13,400 (S1 to S2) for 25 hours per week**

**Contract type: Part-Time, 25 hours per week hours per week, Term Time Only (40 weeks)**

ALP Nuneaton is a newly established school for learners between the ages of 6 and 19 with Special Educational Needs.

ALP Nuneaton provides continuity in learning for pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans. We are a short, medium and long-term provision for learners on the autistic spectrum or who have other special educational needs and challenging behaviour. We cater for young people in their primary, secondary and post-16 school years. The overarching purpose of our provision is to work with learners so that they are able to overcome the barriers to learning that they have previously encountered. We aim to offer flexible, structured and supportive needs led approaches.

We are now looking for a cook to work as part of our growing team. The post-holder will work from 09:00-14:00 each day. You will be required to make both hot meals and cold food as well as cleaning the dining area and kitchen after our learners have finished their lunch. You will be expected to maintain high levels of hygiene and contribute, alongside our operations manager, to our Healthy Schools endeavours.

**Salary**: £12,000.00-£13,400.00 per year

Expected hours: 25 per week

**Experience**:

- Chef: 1 year (preferred)
- Cooking: 1 year (preferred)
- Kitchen experience: 1 year (preferred)
