**Customer Service Assistant Required - Immediate Starts Available**

**Job Role**:Customer Service Assistant

**Locations: Ingatestone Station**

**Shifts: Saturday and Sunday 1800 - 0200 (additional days may be available)**

**Pay rate**:£12.12 per hour

**What does a Customer Service Assistant do?**
- Provide an impeccable customer service experience to customers and passengers on the railway.
- Being vigilant and visible to all customers and other members of staff
- Assisting customers with the usage of lifts and luggage
- Communicate effectively with other staff and passengers in the interests of safety and customer service using information systems as supplied.
- Report any anti-social behaviour with little disruption to other passengers as per the Railway Bylaws.
- Must be confident in approaching passengers and helping with travel queries
- Always bringing and outgoing and positive attitude to the station
- Must be able to problem solve
- Constantly proactive during the day helping where needed
- Walking around the station being visible at all times to the passengers
- Paying attention to detail - Making sure there are no passengers showing clear signs of distress
- Reporting any suspicious behaviour to the correct members of staff
- Ensuring a body camera is worn at all times whilst on shift to make sure any situations are recorded

**Essential Requirements**
- You must hold valid ID to work in the UK and have a full national insurance number.
- You will be required to pass a drug and alcohol screening
- You must be available to work on an immediate basis
- You must be outgoing, confident and be able to make station announcements

**ALL OUR ROLES ARE BASED WORKING IN A RAILWAY ENVIRONMENT, THESE ARE CLASSED AS 'SAFETY CRITICAL' THEREFORE YOU MUST BE COMFORTABLE AND ABLE TO DO SO.**

**Salary**: £12.12 per hour
