If so, a great opportunity has arisen to join Suffolk County Council's South Suffolk Health and Children’s Centre Team as a **Health and Children’s Centre Advisor **based at Phoenix Family Hub, Sudbury.

**Your role and responsibilities**

**You will**:

- support the team with administration and initial face-to-face contact work with the Health and Children’s Centre Service to promote the social, emotional, physical, and intellectual wellbeing of children from pregnancy to 5 years
- deliver the Healthy Child Programme through the Children’s Centre Statutory Framework
- provide reception, general administration, facility management and information
- provide guidance and advice to colleagues
- work with partners and directly with children, young people and families to ensure they are enabled to achieve the best possible outcomes
- be part of a team whose purpose is to meet the needs of children from pre-birth to 5 years and their families, supporting the delivery of the Healthy Child Programme.

**You will need**:

- a suitable level 2 qualification in English and mathematics or equivalent experience or evidence of skills
- a good level of communication skills (written and verbal)
- the ability to provide advice and information with clarity and impartiality to meet the needs of the recipient.
