**There are a few essential requirements for this role that you must be able to demonstrate, these include**:

- A strong interest in working with young people with SEND.
- Understanding of additional learning needs.
- Experience of working as part of a team.
- Experience of motivating and facilitating young people to overcome barriers to learning or achieving goals.
- Level 2 English and Maths (or equivalent) or a commitment to complete within one year of commencement of employment.
- Level 3 Award for Learning Support Practitioners, or willingness to work towards.
- Effective communicator.

**Actual salary dependent on hours worked (FTE £22,071)**

**20 - 37 hours per week (must be available during Monday - Friday 8.30-5.00) term time only.**
