**We have a fantastic opportunity for a Veterinary Receptionist on a 9-month Fixed Term Contract to join our team here at Buttercross Vets in Nottingham**
This is an exciting opportunity to join our RCVS-accredited practice, where you will join a friendly team supported by a Head Receptionist.
This is a full-time position, with the anticipation of starting mid-May, working 40 hours per week, covering Monday-Friday with 1:4 Saturdays.
**The role would consist of mainly working within our team at East Bridgford but also at our branch sites at Bingham and Cotgrave.**
As a Receptionist, you will provide a friendly and efficient service to our clients and their animals. You will need to be able to work well within a team as well as working individually, however, support from your peers is always on hand. We are a professional and personable team working in a very challenging and busy environment, which makes the role varied, and interesting and where no day is ever the same
We are looking for a dynamic person who is confident, has excellent interpersonal skills and has a proven high level of customer service. You will provide excellent customer care to our clients and their pets, supporting the nursing and veterinary surgeon teams by managing appointments and the diary as per the current standard operating procedures. No two days are the same at our busy practice and can be fast paced, so being adaptable and have a personal approach to different client types is essential.
Prior experience in the veterinary industry or similar would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be given.
The salary for this position will be in line with the National Minimum Wage +3% cost of living increase.
