**Global Learning Manager**

**Location: **Hybrid Working (Office in Stamford, PE9 3NZ)

**Hours**: 35 hours per week (9am-5pm, Monday to Friday)

**Salary**:£42,069 - £49,958 per annum

**The Role**

The overall job purpose is to lead the growth and development of learning for our self-study learners across the globe. The job holder will lead and develop self-study learner proposition including assessing local market requirements, collaborate in thedesigning and delivering of learning including self-study learning materials, working with marketing teams and others across CIPS to promote, launch and grow the CIPS self-study proposition in line with CIPS global objectives. To lead the review of all learningmaterials and implement updates and improvements based on context updates, learner feedback and pedagogical developments. To collaborate across the business and with external partners, volunteers and other stakeholders to develop this product.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Champion for self-study leaners**

Responsible and accountable for:

- championing and leading all initiatives relating to this group of learners
- working across CIPS and CIPS partners in the delivery of high quality and relevant learning designed specifically for this group of learners
- monitoring and take necessary actions to ensure that the exam entry and pass rates and module progression for self-study learners improves at least in line with CIPS trends by working across CIPS and with external partners to ensure progression rates accelerate.

**Learning design and SME capabilities**

Responsible and accountable for:

- the development of self-study learning materials, resources and systems ensuring the strong selfstudy learner satisfaction, exam results and qualification progression
- the development of policies and procedures supporting self-study learners
- for managing any partnerships related to self-study learning, ensuring partners deliver as expected
- leading regular updates to the self-study learning materials and collateral ensuing there are timely technical updates and these align to the CIPS qualifications and ensure delivery modes and methods are developed using learner feedback and the best pedagogicalevidence
- leading the development of ancillary materials for learners such as study aids, revision videos and so on to support the progression of self-study learners and driving the sales of these products.
- ensuring IP and other citations are in place for all work.

**Market Development**
- To work with Marketing, Membership, regional teams and Finance teams to develop campaigns to create awareness of the self-study learner proposition in local markets, developing KPI’s
- Understand the market for self-study learning: competitors, trends in learning, use of technology and so on to ensure CIPS products meet the needs to learners and ensure CIPS proposition is aligned with technology developments.

**Reporting**
- In conjunction with the Head of Learning, develop performance metrics for the performance of self-study products and the performance of any partnership or third party relationships
- Responsible for reporting KPI performance, developing and putting into place action plans to manage variances
- Responsible and accountable for the development and management of revenue and costs, budgets and forecasting for self-study learner products ensuring growth in revenues in line with agreed
performance metrics along with a close management of costs
- Responsible for the development and reporting individual market opportunities, plotting market potential, competitors and developing plans to realise these opportunities.

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Successful project management experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to present to large groups
- Leadership of budget development and monthly monitoring of budgets and actions to secure agreed budget targets
- Able to champion the needs of self-study learners across CIPS
- Demonstrable experience of managing high profile projects and events from inception to delivery
- Masters degree (Desirable)
- Logical and Analytical thinker (Desirable)
- Teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent) with significant teaching experience gained in FE or secondary sector, with a keen interest in pedagogy (Desirable)
- MCIPS qualified with a range of commercial experience (Desirable)
