Applications are invited for the above post to work as part of the team in the Power Electronic, Machines and Control Research Group in the Faculty of Engineering on the University’s Jubilee Campus.

The Power Electronics, Machines and Control (PEMC) Research Group is internationally renowned and one of the largest on its field. Comprising of 19 academic staff, around 60 Research Fellows, around 70 PhD Students, and 3 Project Management and Administrative Staff, PEMC delivers high-impact teaching, research, and industrial collaborations.

You will provide administrative support to academic and research staff within the Group. Duties will involve carrying out a range of administration activities such as website/social media management and supporting meetings/events/seminars. You will co-ordinate and support areas of research activity ensuring appropriate administration support is given to academic colleagues in the Group.

The role requires attention to detail and the ability to identify potential opportunities to support research activity/administration. You must be able to work independently and have relevant administrative experience.

This position is available on a fixed term contract until 31 March 2025 with potential for extension and is available immediately. Hours are full time (36.25 hours per week). Job share arrangements may be considered.
