JDP Fire, Security & Electrical have an exciting opportunity for Bookkeeper based in our Harborne office to assist the management accountant. JDP is a privately owned company specialising in the installation and servicing of commercial/industrial fire, security and electrical systems across the Midlands with a high focus on customer satisfaction. We are looking for someone with excellent technical accounting skills and great interpersonal and communication skills to act as the dedicated bookkeeper to support the management accountant, directors and operational managers with relevant financial duties as per duties & responsibilities below.
Working alongside and in conjunction with the accounts manager to undertake the following.
**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Inputting supplier invoices on sage and dealing with supplier queries
- Sending out customer invoices and looking after aged debtors
- Preparing monthly supplier payment run
- Maintain and update Sage projects
- Associated administrative duties

**Skills**
- Strong numerical skills
- Efficient in high-volume data with mínimal errors
- Computer-literate ideally had experience with Sage, Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
- Previous accounts role experience
- Good Sage experience
The position is a full-time permanent position of 40 hrs per week.
