Join us as a Digital Copywriter and you will be working in the Content function of the Digital Team. You will need a passion about producing clear and compelling content across our digital platforms that will engage and inspire our customers. You will be working on projects and campaigns whilst using your creative flair to improve and update our existing estate of content.

Communications, Digital & Data are a key part of our passenger experience at Heathrow and a key focus area for us over the next 5 years. Our team manage all our passenger facing digital services, websites, apps, digital marketing, service, analytics & data, supporting passengers through their end to end journey. We are investing in new digital platforms and market leading technology to make Heathrow’s digital offer the best in the world. Heathrow is like a city - we manage train & travel services, apps, websites, a huge retail offering in our Terminals and much much more. There’s a whole breadth of roles where you can develop your skills including performance & social media marketing, customer relationships & engagement, design, content production, optimisation, product management, distribution, architecture, systems admin and data & analytics. **Your role will involve**:

- Developing compelling, on-brand content for all our Heathrow platforms - whether intended to sell, inform or inspire, or all of the above.
- Identify key messages - understand the main thing that you want the reader to feel and communicate this effectively.
- Understand, adapt and tailor copy for different customer groups and personas.
- Source digital content, such as images and video, if required

**These skills are essential**:

- Proven experience writing online content (including for retail e-commerce).
- Excellent attention to detail, including the ability to proofread your own and others' work.
- A solid understanding of SEO best practices.
- Excellent written English, impeccable grammar, spelling and proofreading skills, and the ability to write in different styles and to other people's direction.
- Be passionate about the aviation and travel industry

**Ideally, you'll also have**:

- Experience in writing and maintaining copy guidelines
- An online portfolio
- Experience of content management software
