Blue Cross are one of the UK’s leading animal welfare organisations for animals. We support sick, injured and homeless pets and care for more than 40,000 animals every year through our rehoming, veterinary and education programmes.

What is the role?

The Individual Giving team is central to driving supporter acquisition and income growth at Blue Cross, excluding major donors, community, and events. The functions of the team are Supporter Acquisition, Donor development, Supporter stewardship and Legacy marketing.

Working as key member of the supporter acquisition team you’ll work as part of a small team to manage a portfolio of projects to ensure that Blue Cross recruit regular supporters cost effectively with focus on maximising lifetime value. Channels include face to face, digital, social media, telephone, and lead generation.

This role is a permanent full-time role working 35 hours a week on a hybrid basis from our Burford site.

What is required?

**We are looking for people with the following**:

- Interest in direct, database, or digital marketing
- Ability to stay up to date with changing guidelines with direct and digital marketing fundraising specifically GDPR legislation

**It would also be great if you had**:

- Knowledge of the charity sector
- Experience of direct or digital marketing or fundraising
- A basic understanding of direct marketing channels, e.g., direct mail, face to face, telephone, lead generation
- Experience of CRM databases
- Knowledge of GDPR and best practice for data
