Our flagship _Hippo Recaller_ tool **streamlines and automates proactive care processes** so that GP Practices can focus on prevention over cure. By shifting focus and using the right tools, practices can **improve health outcomes for patients and reduce their own workload**. Our tool is already in use with over 150,000 patients, and we're growing rapidly.

**Job Summary**:
We're looking for a **top-tier individual** to join our growing team at Hippo Labs doing important, impactful work in the healthcare technology space.

Our Founder's Associate will work across the business, helping us to **build and grow our business and its functions**. As an early stage start-up, we're looking for someone entrepreneurial who can take ownership - you'll need to wear multiple hats and develop your role as we move fast and grow.

The salary range for this role is £30,000 - 50,000 per annum WTE.

**What the Job Involves**:

- You'll **work closely with our CEO (Sachin) and our CTO (Ali)** to build the business and carry out any work that might be needed to help fulfil our mission
- Build a **deep understanding of our product**, the GP Primary Care market and the **needs of practices / patients** that will help you in almost all aspects of your role
- Help **define our vision and product strategy** to ensure we're building excellent tools that help patients and practices be more efficient and effective
- You could be working on a variety of **ad-hoc or ongoing tasks** that help us meet the company objectives and grow as a business. For example you could be involved in:

- Developing and executing a sales strategy
- Developing and executing a customer success strategy
- Supporting the engineering team with data accuracy improvements
- Managing queries from patients and practices
- Collating feedback and managing our roadmap / product backlog
- Constantly assess **how we can be doing things better** whether that's how we approach the market, how we work with our customers or how we manage internal processes
- **Come up with suggestions and spearhead your own initiatives** as you learn and understand the business
- Use **modern web tools and thoughtful processes** to help us develop systems and build up our functions in ways that are efficient and effective
- Organise our projects and workflows through the use of **Asana, Gitlab, Notion and any other tools** you feel would add value
- We're looking for someone who can eventually help with hiring and **help us to build out teams** as and when we need them. In the future, you could be involved in managing one or multiple of these teams - this role is a **jumping off point to many possible roles in the future**
- As a small and growing start-up, you may be involved in any/all aspects of what we do (assuming it's within your skillset) Although the bulk of your work should be within the description above, it's likely not exhaustive and we may adjust it from time to time._

**Who we're looking for**:

- You should be **naturally entrepreneurial and keen to take ownership** and work independently to help you succeed in our small team
- You'll need to be **thoughtful, organised** **and able to prioritise effectively** - there will be a lot going on and we can't miss anything important given the context we work in
- You'll need to **be curious** and have **strong analytical skills** - there will be a lot of noise to sift through and you will have lots of different inputs to synthesise outcomes from
- You'll need to **think flexibly and be smart in the way you approach problems** - our intention is to move quickly and grow rapidly
- You'll need **excellent communication skills** to communicate with stakeholders of all types both internal and external
- We're looking for someone who is **passionate about improving patients' lives** and love solving complex problems to make practices' work more efficient and effective
- (preferred) You should have at least 1-2 years of **experience working in high achieving roles** in the past (could be corporate roles, startup roles or even starting your own business)
- (preferred) Ideally you'll have **some experience in the healthcare space** - if it's NHS primary care, then that's even better
- (preferred) If you have some **experience of managing a team**, that could be helpful down the line as the team grows
