**Job Description:
**Responsibilities**:
Joining as a Bookkeeper you will take responsibility for the delivery of bookkeeping services, preparation of VAT returns and involvement with wider services, dependent on the background and experience of the right professional. You will work on varied clients, across a mix of industries and turnovers. Clients are primarily sole traders, limited companies and LLPs. You will carve a key, support role here to Managers and Directors with increasing responsibility, client contact and development on offer.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience in a bookkeeping role, preferably within a similar professional services environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage, with a strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and practices.
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities, with the capability to prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
- A proactive and adaptable approach to work, with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Relevant qualifications in accounting or bookkeeping would be advantageous but not essential.
**Benefits**:
- Salary Circa £24,000 - £35,000 depending on experience and qualification status, negotiable. A highly competitive benefits package is also on offer.
