We are seeking a SEND Learning Mentor/Teaching Assistant to work in our the Motor Vehicle department, at our partnering School team at their Cheshire site.

**SEND Learning Mentor/Teaching Assistant - Cheshire**

This is an excellent opportunity for an innovative and inspiring SEND Mentor/Teaching Assistant interested in Motor Mechanics to help to support the class teacher to provide learners with an outstanding learning experience.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Help to prepare and support lessons on a range of Motor Vehicle Service, (City & Guilds or equivalent - Desirable) and Repair courses;
- Contribute to aspirational teaching, learning and assessment;
- Help to keep accurate records for learners’ progress in school.

**Key Person Specification Requirements**:

- SEND Learning Mentor/Teaching Assistant with an interest in Motor Mechanics
- Experience supporting children with emotional and behavioural difficulties
- Understanding of equality, diversity and inclusion in work and the learning environment;
- DBS on the update service or be willing to have one processed

The role is to start after February 2023 half term and is offered on a temporary basis with permanent opportunities for the right person
