**Hours: Days only, no sleeps or nights**
Our client, a top dog in children's care, are on the lookout for a Team Leader to join their team. They have a strong belief in the power of evidence-based therapeutic care, and they offer a supportive and nurturing working environment.
**About the Role**:
The position is based in a home for boys aged 11-18 in Welshpool.
As a Team Leader your duties will involve:
- Providing high quality therapeutic care and support
- Promoting emotional wellbeing and resilience
- Documenting and reporting on the progress of the children in your care.
Here's the low down on what our client is looking for:
- A QCF Level 3 in Children and Young People (or equivalent) is essential for this role
- You've got experience in a supervisory role within a children’s home
- A passion for child care and a big heart for helping others
- A solid understanding of safeguarding practices
- A clean UK driving license (as you'll be based in Welshpool).
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- We require good basic English and IT communication skills - we work in the 21st century and with teenagers, so we don’t need to be experts, but we need to have the basics
