Kitchen Assistant

Abbotsholme is a small, boarding and day school for boys and girls aged 2 to 18 set in a large, beautiful estate on the Staffordshire/Derbyshire border.

**Kitchen Assistant Required (Maternity Cover)**

**20 hours per week**

**Term-time only**

Abbotsholme caters for pupils, staff and visitors, providing excellent food and great service. The duties for this role will include washing up, serving customers in a polite and friendly manner, basic food preparation, ensuring the dining room and kitchen are kept clean, tidy and safe.

Monday - Friday; 20 hours per week; 3pm - 7pm; term-time only.

Other duties will include helping with functions to the needs of the school, working in school holidays and weekends if required.
- Good people skills
- Customer focused
- Able to work as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- A 'can do' attitude
- Basic Food Safety an advantage but training will be given

Rate of pay is Minimum/Living Wage

**Job Types**: Part-time, Temporary contract
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: £10.42 per hour
