**Showroom Co-ordinator - job share**

Homestyle is a small family run business.

We sell made to measure blinds, curtains, plantation shutters and patio awnings.

We are seeking someone to work full time in our Burgess Hill showroom co-ordinating the day to day activities of the surveying and fitting team, dealing with customers visiting the showroom and dealing with day to day administration of the business.

**Responsibilities of the post will include**:
To liaise with customers and our measuring/fitting team to schedule home visit appointments, keeping the team fully scheduled and seeking to minimise travelling time through careful scheduling.

To place orders with our suppliers.

To check in deliveries, and schedule fitting accordingly.

To keep the showroom looking clean and tidy.

To assist in sending out quotations for clients.

To prepare invoices and get ready the blinds ready for the fitter to collect.

To take client payments, and log in all monies taken.

To keep administrative paperwork in good order.

For much of the day, the rest of the team are out measuring and fitting. The showroom coordinator must be happy, confident and self-motivated to work alone, and resilient enough to work with the rather demanding needs of the general public

Highly organised, conscientious and methodical.

Fluent written and spoken English.

Friendly telephone manner, confident in dealing with customers.

Previous experience in customer facing/retail/customer service role.

Good local knowledge would be an advantage (for making sensible scheduling choices)

Experience in a similar role (made to measure têxtiles or blinds) would be a strong advantage.

This is a job share, to be worked over 3 days a week, to include a Saturday (Saturdays on rotation, 3 on, 1 off)

**£22,000 per annum**

**Working hours are 9am-5pm, 3 days per week**

**Sick pay: statutory**

**Annual leave: 28 days per annum pro rata (to include bank holidays where they fall on a working day, and annual xmas closure days**)
