Dalton Metals Recycling are looking for an experienced Scrap Metal Yard Operative to join their well established team at depot in Leith.

The skills we are looking for:

- Comfortable working outside
- Previous experience in the scrap metal environment, or similar, such as waste, aggregates, recycling yard(s) is required.
- Awareness of how to operate safely and effectively in a fast paced industrial environment.
- Adaptable to meet business priorities.
- Good communication skills.
- Organised, safety conscious, physically fit and motivated.
- Forklift licence desirable.
- Ability to travel to and from the depot without difficulty.

Pay rate DOE

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £11.00-£12.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Work Location: In person

Expected start date: 04/03/2024
