This is an exciting role for someone who already has experience of working with or supporting children and young people.

Our Children and Young People service in Wales is very well established and we have youth projects operating in Scotland and Northern Ireland. We now have an opportunity for a Youth Lead in England to support an exciting new project and support the development and expansion of our youth services in England.

You will have a relevant youth work qualification and a commitment to lead the development, delivery and promotion of the service is extremely important in this role. The purpose of the role:

- To deliver The Bridge project funded by John Lewis and to play a key role in the development of new projects across England.
- To work with the other national youth leads to develop a high quality, consistent youth provision across the UK.
- To work with youth work colleagues to recruit, train and support a UK wide Adoption UK Youth Council drawing on youth council members from across the 4 nations to advise and inform the Senior Leadership Team and the Board of Trustees in their work.

Adoption UK is required to comply with a pre-employment vetting process for all prospective employees and you will be required to meet the following requirements;
- Provide eligibility to work in the UK and identity documentation
- Complete a satisfactory employment/education history check
- Complete a satisfactory DBS check
