**Title**:Talend Engineer

**Location**:Remote/Telford

**Length**:6 months

**Rate**:£572 Inside IR35

Experis are currently on the lookout for a Talend Engineer to join one of our large consultancy clients.

**Role Responsibilities**
- Carrying out all operational development to the clients requirements and development standards
- Complete testing of products to the clients test strategy standards
- Work closely with project teams giving a realistic timescale for project completion ensuring an efficient process
- Complete works to agreed SLA's including Time, cost and project quality ensuring stakeholders and senior team members are updated
- Problem/Incident analysis, investigation and resolution, orchestration with the delivery team.
- Escalation of issues through the routes defined within the support model.
- Coach and support permanent members of staff on certain parts of the project
- Playing an active part in Process improvement,

**Essential Criteria**:

- ETL toolset: Talend
- Database/storage technologies: Oracle
- Scripting/Programming languages: SQL, Shellscript, Cobol
- Operating systems: Unix, Linux
- Problem solving
- Ability to work independently
- Proactive
- Good communication skills
- SC cleared

**Desirable**:

- Analytics and Reporting: Pentaho BA
- Platforms: Hadoop, AWS
- Berlin Scheduler
- ServiceNow
- Denodo
- Supporting toolsets: Gitlab, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Excel, Jira, Confluence
