**Key Responsibilities**:
**Drive the implementation of **Unloc’s Community Engagement and Development Strategy** **(with support from your line manager)**
- Developing and maintaining ongoing communications with groups of young people at different stages of their changemaker journeys with Unloc.
- Developing new relationships with external partners to increase the out-of-school opportunities made available to young people via Unloc.
- Overseeing the establishment of a new Unloc Youth Board to ensure young people are put at the heart of Unloc’s work.
- Designing, implementing and maintaining a new Unloc ‘ambassadors’ programme for those young people wanting to get more involved in the work Unloc does and act as external advocates for Unloc’s work.
- Launching and maintaining a new LinkedIn Group for now-adult Unloc alumni.
- Creating new video and promotional materials to promote the initiative to young people during our sessions.
- Maintaining the web presence of Unloc’s out-of-school opportunities via Unloc Online.
- Developing a new 'Work Insight Days' programme in partnership with Changemaker Alliance Champions (businesses with close association to Unloc).
- Establishing a new ‘top tier’ opportunity linked to leadership and entrepreneurship to act as a significant draw for young people to engage with Unloc.
- Working with other team members to advertise Unloc’s out-of-school opportunities to young people through in-school activities such as workshops, drop-ins, and assemblies.

**Provide regular updates to the Programme Manager**
- To provide regular (written or verbal) updates to the Programme Manager on current progress and achievements.

**General administration**
- Providing additional administrative support to team members on an ad-hoc basis as and when required (in consultation between you and your line manager).

**Supporting Unloc projects and programmes**
- Aiding Unloc projects and programmes as and when required by the team (in consultation between you and your line manager).

**Person Specification**:
**Qualifications**

Essential:

- GCSE Maths and English at grade A*-C / 9-4 (or equivalent).
- Two A-Levels at grade A*-C (or equivalent).

Desirable:

- Level 2 ICT qualification.

**Experience and Knowledge**

Essential:

- Proven organisational skills, ideally in a project management setting.
- Previous experience of working with young people.

Desirable:

- Previous experience of working for a social enterprise.
- Previous knowledge of the education sector.
- Previous experience of stakeholder management.

**Abilities and Skills**

Essential:

- Ability to prioritise and manage own workload.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- High-level communication skills including written and verbal communication.
- Confidence in building new relationships with community stakeholders.

Desirable:

- High-level of skill when using G Suite.

**Other**

Essential:

- Passionate about young people.
- Willingness to undertake staff training and development as required.

Desirable:

- A full UK driving licence.
