**Mixing Operatives - Immediate Start - (PM Shift 14.15 - 22.15)**

**£12.50 per hour +10% shift allowance**

We currently have a number of exciting opportunities to work within our Mixing team based at our 100,000 square foot production facility in Redditch, Worcestershire.

No two days will be the same working in our mixing team as you will embark on a production journey, which will see you playing a key role in producing hair care, washing, bathing and skin care products

As a Mixer within DCS Manufacturing you will be responsible for blending, mixing and preparing different chemicals, ensuring that the end product is consistent with the required specifications. The end goal is producing high-quality personal & home care products that meet the needs of our customers.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Liaising closely with the technical and quality teams on product specifications and formulations.
- Ensuring all production, cleaning, good manufacturing practice, and quality standards and standard operating procedures are adhered to and recorded at all times.
- Operate and maintain chemical mixing machinery.
- Adjust mixing machinery to achieve desired outcomes.
- Ensuring micro samples are taken and recorded for every mix.
- Identifying all issues with the raw materials prior to use and product development is informed in a timely manner.

**Requirements**:

- Chemical mixing experience and knowledge of chemical mixing techniques and processes is preferred, but not essential.
- Previous experience of working in a manufacturing / industrial environment in a similar position.
- Ability to work with hazardous materials in accordance with safety regulations.
