The Role

We are looking to recruit a motivated and enthusiasitic Library Assistant to join our School library team, providing support for staff and pupils throughout the school day and beyond.

This is a part-time, term-time, permanent role, 25 hours per week, 12.30-5.30 pm, Monday to Friday, including 4 in-service days.

Flexibility will be needed to allow for cover and the needs of the timetable which may change from year to year.

About the school/organisation

Hutchesons' Grammar School aims to provide boys and girls with a broad Scottish education, with the emphasis on academic excellence.

Founded in 1641, Hutchesons’ is a famous school which has always been at the forefront of teaching and learning in Scotland. They are part of a large community of learners, where every individual is important. They learn to be thoughtful, articulate and well-read and to have a clear idea about how they want to live their lives beyond school and university.
