Location North East England CIPHER Base Stockton on Tees Accountable To Head of Operations Responsible For Assisting the Paramedic or Technician with clinical duties under their supervision and direction. Safe transport and care of patients and colleagues. Responsibilities Summary Vehicles safe for operational duties including IPC policy is adhered to. Safe transport or patients in emergency and none emergency driving conditions.
Working under direct supervision of Paramedic or Technician. To adopt the CIPHER Medical core values, fulfilling our vision and mission statements. Core Responsibilities Undertake the full range of ECA duties in line with CIPHER Medicals policies. Record baseline observations and communicate them to lead clinician.
Safe use of AED Basic airway management including insertion of OPAs Assists paramedic with managing advanced airway Ensures health, safety and welfare of patients and colleagues Is aware of safeguarding issues and reporting procedures as per CIPHER Medicals policies Completes vehicle daily inspections Appropriate use of airwaves radios Safe use of immobilisation equipment Documentation and Record Keeping Ensure the prompt, legible and accurate completion of all patient and incident records, providing a full and accurate record of decision making in accordance with the Caldicott principles, current legislation and regulatory framework. Ensure the sharing of information is always done in compliance with information governance procedures. Communicate effectively adapting communication style accordingly in order to overcome barriers. This includes internal and external communications.
Drive relevant vehicle types operated by CIPHER Medical, that you are trained in. Carry out vehicle and equipment inspections. In line with the CIPHER Medicals policy maintain appropriate standards of cleanliness of vehicles, equipment and station, completing documentation as required.
