**Workshop Controller OTE £35,000- £40,000, Full Time**

We are recruiting for Workshop Controllers to join Cox Motor Group’s teams at multiple dealerships in the North West.

As a technician you will be responsible for detecting and diagnosing vehicles faults to establish the work required, and ensure that the subsequent work carried out is carried out accurately and in a timely manner. You will be responsible for vehicle road testing and ensuring vehicle parts are stored and handled correctly. The ideal person will take pride in ensuring Lancaster Honda customers are provided with the very best service.

Duties to include but are not limited to:

- To ensure efficient workshop use of materials, equipment and labour resources.
- To ensure service and repairs are carried out to the highest quality standards, achieving total customer satisfaction.
- To actively retain all available business by consulting and co-operating with reception staff, and service manager.
- To work effectively within the dealership team to ensure industry-leading standards of customer care and satisfaction at all times.
- Organise the workshop by controlling job start and finishing times and to be aware of the status of each job at all times
- Ensure the Workshop tools and equipment are in good working order
- Responsible for the security of the building
- Ensure all job cards are completed correctly and be ultimately responsible for shop floor discipline
- To liaise with all Technicians and the Manager in respect of any quality / training issues
- Qualified to Level 3 in Light Vehicle Mechanics, Maintenance Repair or equivalent
- Previous experience working as a Vehicle Technician is essential
- MOT licence is essential
- Clean driving licence essential
