Yard Person

**Job Duties**:

- Efficiently unloading, handling and storage of materials & related items.
- You will be expected to build up product and component knowledge.
- Verify correct kit contents and quantities of deliveries ready for delivery to sites.
- Ensuring correct storage of items inside the correct locations.
- Maintain accurate stock levels.
- Work with purchasing to notify in a timely manner any stock level issues to avoid shortages.
- Stock rotation and utilisation to avoid aging stock or stock obsolescence.
- Maintain Housekeeping - help to ensure the cleanliness, tidiness and organisation of the shop floor and yard areas to a high standard at all times.
- Comply with Health and Safety standards.
- Assist Joinery workshop with machining items (Training will be given)
- Patt testing & maintenance of small tools & equipment (Training will be given)
- Relief driving of delivery vehicles during holiday periods
- Any other general activity as advised by Supervisors.
- Demonstrate positive, supporting and solution focused behaviour that promotes good working relationships and high performing teams.

**Knowledge, Skills, Experience**:

- Fork Lift Truck Licence (preferred) - Counterbalance Licence
- Driving Licence (Class C1E Preferred)
- Patt testing (preferred)

Experience in a similar role/environment

Ability to work efficiently, accurately and build effective working relationships
